The 2014 Hyundai Sonata at Mike Miller Hyundai

At Mike Miller Hyundai, we’re happy to welcome new 2014 Hyundai models to our new inventory, and a notable member of the class of 2014 is the new Hyundai Sonata. The 2014 Hyundai Sonata is bold, sleek, and packed with features to equip any driver for the challenges of 2014 and beyond. Our team of devoted Hyundai dealers looks forward to helping you explore it in person.

With the space of a vehicle in the next class up and killer design, the 2014 Hyundai Sonata is one midsize sedan you won’t want to overlook. Its sculpted exterior features plenty of design goodies like a body color front grille and door handles, solar control glass, a shark fin antenna, projector headlights, and—on the mid-level SE trim and top-level Limited trim—side mirrors with turn signal indicators, chrome grille and door handles, and the convenient Proximity Key entry and push button start. Bright 16-inch alloy wheels shine brightly on the base GLS trim.

In terms of power, the 2014 Hyundai Sonata won’t disappoint with its 2.4-liter GDI DOHC 4-cylinder engine, which comes equipped with Dual-CVVT and a 6-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC®. Front wheel drive and the active ECO System are standard on all trims. This powertrain gets an admirable 190 horsepower and 179 lb-ft of torque. 2.0-liter turbo GDI DOHC 4-cylinder engine with Dual-CVVT is available on the SE and Limited trims.

Inside the new 2014 Hyundai Sonata, you’ll find a surprising amount of space populated with an impressive array of features and amenities. Gleaming metalgrain interior accents, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel with audio and cruise controls, power door locks, and power windows are only the beginning. Air conditioning and the optional panoramic tilt-and-slide sunroof (available for the Limited trim only) will help keep the air in the interior fresh. The Hyundai Blue Link® telematics system is a great complement to other features like Bluetooth® and the 104-Watt Dimension® audio system, which gives drivers and passengers access to AM/FM/Sirius XM radio, CD and MP3 playback, a USB port, an auxiliary audio jack, and six speakers.

Safety is just one language that Hyundai speaks fluently, but it’s an important one. High-end technological innovations like Blind Spot Detection, a driver’s blind spot mirror and rearview camera may only be standard or available on the higher of the 2014 Hyundai Sonata trim levels, but there’s a long list of features that are standard on every trim. A Vehicle Stability Management system, electronic stability control, and a traction control system keep the vehicle stable in motion, while standard ABS, brake assist, and electronic brakeforce distribution bring it safely and steadily to a stop. This model’s occupant classification system helps the advanced airbag system determine who’s sitting where and what degree of protection they’ll need in event of a collision. Built to protect, the 2014 Hyundai Sonata has an energy-absorbing steering column, front and rear crumple zones, and an engine immobilizer. Add in LATCH and active head restraints, and you’ve got a vehicle that’s safe for drivers and passengers of all ages.

With so much to offer in both technology and beautiful design, it’s no wonder that this vehicle has such wide appeal. View the clip below to see what makes the 2014 Hyundai Sonata so desirable to both the brain and the heart:
